Happy Days & LSNED

I am taking Nadine`s 30 Days of Creativity Challenge as well as starting Shimelle`s LSNED! I managed to finish this layout I created from our BBQ last weekend for the August Birthday`s.
I used Glitz`s Afternoon Muse line and created a little journal book that I attached to the layout so I could include more photos and some journaling.
I used my sizzix to cut out the butterflies and then used the cut out portion of the paper as a mask to create the butterflies on the book. I used Rangers distress pads. Also, I added an eyelet along with embroidery floss to keep the book closed.
Inside I added photos of all the birthday girls & boy with their celebratory age. It`s a great addition and easy to do.

As for Learn Something New Everyday... I did pay attention to the lessons of my day and will share that with you tomorrow :)
Take care!

  10. Great layout. I love the booklet for extra photos and journalling! I always forget ideas like that. Super papers. I'm also in LSNED as I did it back in 2006 but this month is pretty hectic so I won't be joining in! But I'll be interested to see what you create
