Technology Advances (Updated June 23rd)

Here is a layout I finished using Alexa's free mini kit which you can download here for the template and here for the digital papers! If you would like to see how Alexa created a fabric copy of her the digital designs papers from photocopied fabric... then check out her tutorial. Also, she has a freebie pdf that has some cute tags... just download and print! These papers and the pdf would make an amazing hybrid page. Just remember to read the terms of reference if you download :)

Here is my version of her mini kit...
What do you think? Are there any advancements in technology that you find useful? What are they?

Have a wonderful evening, or day, where ever you may be!

  4. good for you on the digi layout!

I have to say that I am totally addicted to the internet, blogging, emails and all things web related. I agree with Jacky that I adore being able to find out ANYTHING within a few minutes (remember how long it used to take in the reference section of the library???). I am in love with my iPhone and my iMac and can't imagine living without either!

  5. I'm smiling at Lisa's comment - I used to work in the reference section and I think I probably wouldn't be needed anymore. It can all be done with Google.

Your page is so lovely and fresh looking.

  8. Oh wow, Ginger! This looks just perfectly lovely - and I am very thrilled that you've used it! And you are way ahead of me on the ipad - we got one at Christmas for the whole family but I haven't even begun to explore its full potential yet. You look so comfortable with yours! At the moment, I'm enjoying exploring how to draw lines and curves in Photoshop and Illustrator. :)

  9. PS Just a quick elucidation, if I may? Hope you don't mind. I didn't create the papers from photocopied fabric: I designed and created the papers and then printed them onto plain cotton to create the fabric. :)

  10. Love the page Ginger. Somehow I can never see my screen when I take the laptop out into the garden - and it certainly isn't because we have too much sun here!

  11. Oh, how beautiful :) Love how you've used Alexa's freebies! And I saw your other post with the correction, I can understand how the confusion happened and I'm sure Alexa is fine about it xx

Oh, and the best development ever would have to be digital photography, for sure!
