Coq au Vin

Whenever I want to make something special there is only one cookbook I turn to... "The Joy of Cooking"... It has all the classics and offers up important details in each chapter.

I had never made this dish before, but I have eaten it. Taking my time cooking this meal leaves a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. This was our Valentine's Dinner...

  3. that looks great - I don't know "The Joy of Cooking" (is it an American publication?) but I always turn to something by Delia Smith who is the British Goddess of all things foody! I don't have a specific fave but anything with pasta is great in my book!
